KATHMANDU: Bajaj is set to reintroduce the Bajaj Pulsar 180, as the bike has been spotted at dealerships in India ahead of its official launch.
The updated model follows the latest classic Pulsar design. It gets a black finish with red and gray graphics, a sculpted fuel tank, and a sharp tail section. A “180” decal confirms the variant.
Key updates include a new LED headlamp, LED indicators, and a fully digital LCD instrument cluster. Higher variants may offer Bluetooth connectivity and navigation support.
The bike also features rear disc brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a larger exhaust similar to the Bajaj Pulsar 220F.
Mechanically, it is expected to continue with the 178.6cc single-cylinder engine. The motor will likely be updated for latest emission norms and E20 fuel compatibility. Output is expected to remain close to the previous model.
The Pulsar 180 is expected to be priced between the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220F. Its return will target rivals like the TVS Apache RTR 180.
