Kaiyi Shiyue Max launches pre-orders in China with claimed 310 km range

KATHMANDU: Kaiyi Auto has opened pre-orders for the Shiyue Max electric car in China.

According to the official poster, the EV is positioned as an affordable long-range commuter car. Buyers can reserve the vehicle with a refundable $1 deposit and get priority delivery.

The Shiyue Max follows the brand’s rounded design language and comes with a five-door layout. It offers a 237-liter boot space, expandable up to 960 liters.

Inside, it features an 8.8-inch instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen. The system supports voice control, wireless CarPlay/HiCar, and 540-degree panoramic imaging.

The EV measures 3,725 mm in length with a 2,520 mm wheelbase. It is powered by a fully electric drivetrain with a CLTC range of up to 310 km.

Kaiyi vehicles are distributed in Nepal by the official distributors, Laxmi E-Mobility and G.O. Automobiles.
