KATHMANDU: MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Deepal in Nepal, has started sales of the new 2026 Deepal S05 Plus in the Nepali market.
The company has priced the new S05 Plus at Rs 5.399 million. The electric SUV comes with rear-wheel drive, advanced technology, futuristic styling, and strong safety credentials.
The new S05 Plus is powered by a 99 kW electric motor that produces 320 Nm of torque. It offers a WLTP-certified driving range of 405 km on a full charge.
The SUV supports DC fast charging of up to 151.5 kW. According to the company, the battery can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 15 minutes. It also supports 6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
The 2026 Deepal S05 Plus is also the winner of the prestigious iF Design Award 2025. Its sharp design lines, frameless doors, and flush door handles give it a premium road presence.
Inside the cabin, the SUV gets a 15.4-inch full-HD touchscreen infotainment system, eight Sony speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 64-color ambient lighting.
The S05 Plus also features a 159-liter trunk and a segment-first Remote In and Out parking function. It comes with 4G and 5G connectivity as well.
In terms of safety, the 2026 Deepal S05 Plus has received a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
