Proton Nepal opens e.MAS 5 bookings with ‘Guess the Price’ campaign

KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has opened bookings for the all-new Proton e.MAS 5.

Customers can reserve the electric vehicle by paying a booking amount of Rs. 100,000 through banks or online payment channels.

Alongside the booking announcement, the company has launched a promotional campaign titled “Guess and Book the All-New e.MAS 5 at Your Price.”

Under the scheme, customers can predict the official launch price of the e.MAS 5. Those who correctly guess the launch price, or submit the closest estimate, will be eligible to buy the vehicle at their predicted price.

Participants can submit their estimated price by selecting their preferred variant through the company’s dedicated online portal.

For the e.MAS 5 Prime, the prediction range is Rs. 2.999 million to Rs. 3.499 million. For the Premium variant, the range is Rs. 3.499 million to Rs. 3.999 million.

The company will select five winners from each variant through a lucky draw. Subject to the campaign’s terms and conditions, the winners will be able to purchase the e.MAS 5 at the price they predicted.

Proton e.MAS 5: key highlights

The Proton e.MAS 5 is a rebadged version of the Geely Xingyuan. It will be offered with 58 kW and 85 kW electric motor options, paired with 30.12 kWh and 40.16 kWh battery packs. The two variants offer claimed driving ranges of 225 km and 325 km, respectively.

The EV supports 3.3 kW AC and 80 kW DC fast charging, with the latter capable of charging the battery from 30% to 80% in around 21 minutes.

Key features include an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, up to a 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, 50W wireless charging, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.
