KATHMANDU : Bajaj Auto’s next-generation Pulsar 125 has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch in India on August 12, according to Rushlane. The motorcycle features a completely new design, a new chassis and what appears to be a newly developed engine.

The latest Pulsar 125 retains the brand’s signature styling while adopting a sharper and more modern appearance. It gets a redesigned LED headlamp with ‘Wolf Eye’ position lights, a muscular fuel tank with bold extensions and a sleeker rear section with split LED tail lamps.

Despite the updated styling, Bajaj has continued to use halogen turn indicators, which remain common in the entry-level motorcycle segment.

The motorcycle is underpinned by a new tubular steel frame and features a rear monoshock suspension, replacing the twin-shock setup found on the current model. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.

It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tires. Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum brake, although Bajaj has not yet confirmed whether the bike will be equipped with ABS.

The spotted model also appears to use a newly developed engine, with revised engine casings and a redesigned exhaust system indicating significant mechanical updates. However, the company has not revealed performance figures.

Inside the cockpit, the new Pulsar 125 gets a color LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Other features include LED headlights and LED tail lamps.

The new Pulsar 125 will compete with models such as the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda Shine 125 in the Indian market.
