KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD in Nepal, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new showroom in Pokhara.
The launch also marked the introduction of BYD’s latest model, the SEALION 7, in Gandaki Province.
The showroom was inaugurated by Dhana Raj Acharya, Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, in the presence of industry representatives, media and BYD customers.
Located at Buddha Chowk, the facility follows BYD’s latest corporate identity standards and spans 12,845 sq. ft. It offers sales, service and spare parts under one roof.
A modern service center is being built right behind the showroom to further strengthen after-sales support.
“Pokhara is a key market for our long-term strategy,” said Anil Shrestha, Chairman of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd. “With the new showroom and the premium SEALION 7, we are committed to providing superior customer experiences and promoting sustainable mobility in Nepal.”
All service staff in Pokhara have received official training and certifications from BYD headquarters. Customers will now have access to certified service that meets BYD’s global standards.
With this expansion, Cimex is strengthening its presence in the Western region while bringing the latest EV technology closer to customers in Gandaki Province.
