KATHMANDU: MAW Sparsha, the authorized distributor of Skoda vehicles in Nepal, has launched the updated Skoda Kushaq in the domestic market.
The facelifted compact SUV is available in six variants, with prices starting at Rs 5.79 million for the entry-level model and going up to Rs 9.19 million for the top-spec variant.
The updated Kushaq receives several styling revisions inspired by Skoda’s latest Modern Solid design language. It features a redesigned front grille, updated LED headlamps with revised daytime running lights, a more sculpted front bumper, new LED taillamps and newly designed 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin has also been refreshed with upgraded technology and premium features. Depending on the variant, the SUV comes equipped with an updated infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-color ambient lighting, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, and rear-seat massage function.
The facelifted Kushaq is offered with two engine options. The 1.0-liter TSI engine produces 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
The more powerful 1.5-liter TSI engine delivers 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
With 188 mm of ground clearance, the Kushaq is well suited to Nepal’s diverse road conditions. Its suspension setup, driving dynamics and high-speed stability make it equally comfortable on highways and uneven roads.
