KATHMANDU: Honda Cars India has started dispatching the facelifted 2026 Honda City to dealerships ahead of its official launch on May 22, according to Rushlane.

Recent dealership images reveal several exterior updates on the new City facelift. The sedan gets redesigned LED headlamps connected by a slim light bar. It also features a new grille, updated front bumper, and a more prominent nose design.

At the rear, the City retains its U-shaped LED tail lamps. However, the rear bumper has been revised with a gloss black insert. Some variants are also seen with a boot lip spoiler and new dual-tone alloy wheels.

The cabin receives feature upgrades as well. The updated sedan will offer a larger touchscreen infotainment system, blue ambient lighting, and a sunroof.

Mechanically, the 2026 City facelift remains unchanged. It will continue with the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and strong-hybrid powertrain options.

The petrol version produces 119 BHP and 145 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT transmission. The hybrid variant delivers 124 BHP and uses an e-CVT setup.
