KATHMANDU: Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2026 Burgman maxi-scooter in the Indian market, with prices 113,000 Indian rupees (ex-showroom). The new model will be sold alongside the existing Burgman Street EX, which continues without any changes.
The updated Burgman gets a refreshed design, highlighted by dual-pod LED headlights inspired by its international version. It also introduces a new copper paint scheme, along with multiple color options. The higher variant features dual-tone paint with Mat Luxe Copper finish.

On the feature front, Suzuki has added a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with navigation, keyless system with remote FOB, Suzuki Easy Start, silent start, and all-LED lighting. Practicality is supported by dual front storage compartments and a 24.6-liter under-seat storage.
The scooter is equipped with telescopic front suspension and a swingarm-type rear suspension. Braking setup includes a front disc and rear drum, along with 12-inch alloy wheels and a 5.5-liter fuel tank.
Powering the new Burgman is a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine based on Suzuki’s SEP platform. It produces 8 hp and 10.2 Nm of torque, tuned for improved low to mid-range performance for daily riding.
