KATHMANDU: CG Motors has officially launched the Riddara RD6 ECON 4×4 electric pick-up in the Nepali market at an introductory price of Rs 71,99,000. Riddara is a Chinese automotive brand under Geely Holding Group.
Positioned as one of Nepal’s most capable electric pick-ups, the RD6 ECON 4×4 focuses on performance, practicality, and off-road capability.
The new ECON 4×4 variant brings improved power and terrain capability, making it suitable for both commercial use and lifestyle buyers.
The RD6 ECON 4×4 comes with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering true 4×4 performance. It produces peak torque of 485 Nm, offering strong pulling power and acceleration. The pick-up features 225 mm ground clearance and a payload capacity of 1,235 kg, supporting heavy-duty usage.
Multiple drive modes are available, including Eco, Normal, Sport, and dedicated off-road modes such as Snow, Mud, and Sand.
The electric pick-up is equipped with a 5-Star Battery Protection Armor System and an IP68-rated battery pack for water and dust resistance. It also includes six advanced battery safety management systems aimed at improving reliability and safety in diverse driving conditions.
CG Motors says the RD6 ECON 4×4 is engineered for Nepal’s varied terrain, from city roads to mountainous and off-road environments.
