Creta EV overview

The Creta EV comes in a feature-packed compact SUV design. It is available with two battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh.

It features one-pedal driving technology, similar to Hyundai Ioniq 5. The SUV also gets Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, allowing it to work as a portable power source.

Key features include ventilated seats, a Bose 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone AC, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, ADAS 2.0, and memory and welcome seats. The SUV also gets a three-spoke steering wheel, a column-mounted gear selector, and a drive mode selector, improving overall convenience and usability.

The Creta EV is available with two motor options: a 99 kW motor paired with a 42 kWh battery, and a 126 kW motor paired with a 51.4 kWh battery. The smaller battery offers over 300 km real-world range, while the larger battery delivers around 400 km range on a single charge.

Initially, the model was launched with a 42 kWh battery. The 51.4 kWh version was introduced later.

Due to Nepal’s motor power-based tax system, the higher variant is priced higher. It uses a more powerful 126 kW motor.

The 42 kWh variants include the Executive priced at Rs 5.196 million, the Smart (O) at Rs 5.696 million, and the Premium Plus at Rs 5.996 million. The 51.4 kWh variants include the Smart (O) priced at Rs 6.996 million and the Excellence variant at Rs 7.696 million.
