KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto’s upcoming adventure motorcycle is expected to come with a 250cc engine, according to a new report. The new dual-sport-style ADV was recently spotted testing last month in India.
The upcoming Bajaj ADV is expected to compete with models like the Yamaha WR155R, Honda CRF150L, and Suzuki DR150 in Latin America. In India, it could rival the Hero Xpulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX230.
The motorcycle is expected to use the 249cc single-cylinder engine from the Pulsar N250. The engine produces 24 BHP of power and 21.5 Nm of torque.
The new ADV is expected to be positioned below the KTM 390 Enduro R and could offer a more affordable option in the adventure motorcycle segment.
Bajaj is likely to launch the motorcycle in Latin America before introducing it in India.
