KATHMANDU: Leapmotor is expanding its product portfolio in Nepal with the introduction of the B03 electric SUV, which is scheduled to make its public debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.

Shangri-La Motors, the authorized distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, has confirmed that the first shipment of the B03 has left China and is currently en route to Nepal. The model will be offered in two variants, with different battery capacities and feature packages.

The B03 will be officially unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo, which begins on August 11. Pricing and detailed specifications are expected to be announced during the event.

Positioned as a practical electric SUV for everyday use, the B03 combines modern design with the brand’s latest EV technology. First showcased at the Guangzhou Auto Show, the model is built on Leapmotor’s next-generation vehicle architecture.

The front-wheel-drive SUV is powered by a 100 kW electric motor that produces 200 Nm of torque, offering a balance of performance and efficiency for urban and highway driving.

Feature highlights include 18-inch alloy wheels, a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD touchscreen infotainment system, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a 510-liter luggage compartment, enhancing both convenience and practicality.

With the launch of the B03, Leapmotor will expand its lineup in Nepal to four models, joining the B10, C10 and T03. The addition is expected to strengthen the Chinese EV brand’s presence in Nepal’s increasingly competitive electric vehicle market.
