Suzuki hikes V-Strom SX 250 price by Rs. 10,000 in Nepal

KATHMANDU: VG Automobiles, the authorized distributor of Suzuki motorcycles in Nepal, has increased the price of the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 by Rs. 10,000.

The adventure motorcycle is now priced at Rs. 619,900, up from its previous price of Rs. 609,900.

The V-Strom SX 250 became more affordable after local assembly began in Nepal, with its price dropping by around Rs. 100,000 to the Rs. 600,000 range. However, this is the second price hike for the model since then.

The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 is a lightweight adventure touring motorcycle inspired by the larger V-Strom 650. It is based on Suzuki’s global V-Strom family, which is well known in the adventure motorcycle segment.

Power comes from a 249cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine. It produces 26.5 PS of power and 22.2 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle features telescopic front forks, a rear swingarm suspension, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, a full-LED lighting system, dual disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, a side-stand interlock, a tall windscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster.
