Wuling Darion 7-seater EV launched in Nepal at Rs 5.599 million

KATHMANDU : Paramount Motors, the authorized distributor of Wuling vehicles in Nepal, has launched the Wuling Darion MPV EV at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026.

The seven-seater electric MPV is priced at Rs 5.599 million. Under the NAIMA promotional offer, customers can get a Rs 0.2 million discount, bringing the effective price to Rs 5.399 million.

The Wuling Darion is positioned as a premium family MPV, offering a spacious seven-seat layout, electric sliding doors and a range-focused electric powertrain. Wuling’s official specifications confirm that the EV is powered by a 69.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.

The battery supports a claimed range of up to 540 km on the CLTC cycle. The electric motor produces 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm of torque, with power sent to the front wheels.

The Darion measures 4,910 mm in length, 1,870 mm in width and 1,770 mm in height, with a 2,910 mm wheelbase.

The MPV comes with features such as dual electric sliding doors, a 12.8-inch touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, ventilated captain seats, a 50W wireless charger, voice commands, an electric tailgate and an electric sunroof.

Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold control, TPMS and ISOFIX. The higher-specification Darion also gets advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking.

Paramount Motors had earlier announced the Darion MPV EV as part of its expanded Wuling EV lineup for Nepal. The model is aimed at customers looking for a spacious electric vehicle for family and long-distance use.
