Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq launched

KATHMANDU : Mahindra has launched two new versions of the BE 6 electric SUV in India. The new Sporteq variant is priced at 1.945 million (Indian rupees), while the Formula E Freedom Edition costs Rs. 2.445 million (Indian rupees).

The BE 6 Sporteq is now the flagship variant of the lineup. It gets a new dashboard with three 12.3-inch screens, along with a black-and-tan interior and several new technology features.

It is available with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options. The larger battery offers a claimed range of up to 682 km. The electric motor produces 282 BHP and 380 Nm of torque.

The Sporteq also brings features such as driver profile recognition, Google Gemini voice assistance, Drift Mode, Acceleration Boost and a custom drive mode.

The Formula E Freedom Edition gets a sportier look with a new Rosso Impulso color, Formula E decals and a special interior theme. It retains the dual-screen dashboard layout and comes with features including a 540-degree camera and 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
