KATHMANDU: Maxus has extended its NAIMA Mobility Expo offer on the eTerron 9 electric pickup until August 31.

Himalayan Motorox, the official distributor of Maxus in Nepal, has extended the offer following the strong response at the recently concluded NAIMA Mobility Expo.

Customers interested in the offer can book the electric pickup at the Maxus showroom in Hattisar, Kathmandu, according to the company.

Under the offer, the Premium variant gets a discount of Rs. 500,000, while the Comfort variant gets Rs. 200,000 off.

The Premium variant is priced at Rs. 12.8 million. After the discount, customers can purchase it for Rs. 12.3 million.

Similarly, the Comfort variant is priced at Rs. 8.8 million and is available for Rs. 8.6 million after the discount.

The eTerron 9 received a strong response at the NAIMA Mobility Expo. According to the company, it received 44 bookings, including 36 units of the Comfort variant and eight units of the Premium variant.

The electric pickup has also been gaining attention in Nepal, particularly among younger buyers, off-road users and camping enthusiasts.

Its rugged design, high ground clearance and extensive features make it suitable for both personal and commercial use. The pickup is also being considered by businesses involved in construction and hydropower projects, where higher ground clearance and lower running costs can be useful.

The eTerron 9 is manufactured by Maxus, a brand under China’s SAIC Motor. Its combination of utility, features and electric powertrain has helped the model attract buyers in Nepal.
