KATHMANDU: Aprilia has launched the new SR 175 scooter in Nepal. Delta Autocorp, the authorized distributor of Aprilia in Nepal, has started sales of the SR 175 at the NADA Auto Show 2026.

The company has priced the scooter at Rs 456,500. Customers purchasing an Aprilia scooter during the NADA Auto Show will receive a discount worth Rs 28,000.

The SR 175 was introduced in India as a replacement for the SR 160. It carries forward the overall design and chassis of the outgoing model, with updates to the graphics, colors and cockpit.

The scooter is powered by a 174.7cc, single-cylinder BS6 engine. It produces 13.08 bhp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission.

Aprilia has equipped the SR 175 with a 5-inch color TFT instrument panel. It supports smartphone connectivity, navigation, call and message alerts, and music controls through the Aprilia app.

The scooter gets full-LED lighting, 14-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tires and single-channel ABS. Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum setup. Suspension duties are managed by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.

The SR 175 continues Aprilia’s sporty SR design language. It gets updated decals, racing-inspired graphics and new color options while retaining the overall styling of the SR 160.
