KATHMANDU: Bajaj has introduced an updated version of the Pulsar 220F in Nepal, featuring a new LED headlight setup. Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, the authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has started sales of the updated model.
The motorcycle is priced at Rs 474,900.
The key update is the replacement of the previous halogen headlight with a new LED unit featuring integrated daytime running lights (DRLs). The latest update follows earlier revisions that introduced new graphics, LED indicators and additional color options.
Apart from the lighting upgrade, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged.
The Pulsar 220F continues to use a 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. It produces 20.9 horsepower and 18.6Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle also features a Bluetooth-enabled, fully digital LCD instrument cluster. Its functions include turn-by-turn navigation, call accept and reject controls, missed-call alerts, SMS notifications, a clock and distance-to-empty (DTE) information.
The Pulsar 220F comes with telescopic front suspension featuring anti-friction bushes and a five-step Nitrox rear shock absorber.
Other features include LED lighting, standard LED indicators, alloy wheels, tubeless tires and disc brakes at both ends.
With the new LED headlight, Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 220F’s lighting equipment while retaining its existing engine and mechanical package.
