KATHMANDU : Global IME Bank has announced a special auto loan scheme for customers purchasing new vehicles during the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026.
Under the offer, customers purchasing new vehicles at the expo can get an auto loan at a premium of as low as 0.5% over the bank’s base rate. Based on the current base rate, the interest rate starts at 5.25%.
The interest rate will be adjusted automatically if the bank’s base rate changes.
For customers purchasing new EVs at the NAIMA Expo, the bank has also introduced a fixed interest rate of 5.99% for three years. After the three-year period, the loan will carry an interest rate of the bank’s base rate plus a maximum premium of 2%.
Global IME Bank has set up a dedicated stall at the NAIMA Mobility Expo to facilitate vehicle financing. Customers can apply for auto loans directly from the bank’s stall.
The bank said it will provide a loan approval letter within three days after customers submit all required documents.
Global IME Bank is a commercial bank with a nationwide network. It currently operates 341 branches, 366 ATMs, 147 branchless banking outlets, 69 extension and revenue collection counters, and three foreign representative offices.
The bank also provides remittance services from several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and India.
