KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp’s electric sub-brand Vida has launched the Dirt.E K3 electric dirt bike, designed specifically for children aged 4 to 10 years.

The bike is priced at 69,990 Indian rupees (ex-showroom), with this introductory price applicable to the first 300 units.

The Vida Dirt.E K3 is powered by a 360 Wh detachable battery paired with a 500 W electric motor. On a full charge, the battery offers a riding time of around 2 to 3 hours. Charging from 20 to 80 percent takes approximately 2 hours.

The electric dirt bike features three riding modes, Low, Mid, and High. These modes adjust throttle response and top speed. In Low mode, the speed is limited to 8 km/h, mid mode allows up to 17 km/h, while High mode unlocks a top speed of 25 km/h.

For adaptability as the rider grows, the Dirt.E K3 is equipped with a three-stage adjustable suspension with Small, Medium, and Large settings. These settings change the suspension travel and frame height, making the bike suitable for different age groups and riding conditions.
