KATHMANDU: CF Moto is preparing to launch its new 250cc dual-purpose motorcycle, the CF Moto Dual 250, in the Nepali market.
The motorcycle is expected to go on sale around the English New Year, with testing now in its final stage across different regions of Nepal.
Rishi Trade Center, under the Reliance Group and the official distributor of CF Moto motorcycles in Nepal, will introduce the Dual 250 as demand for dual-purpose and adventure motorcycles continues to grow in the country.
MeroAuto had earlier reported sightings of the Dual 250 undergoing road tests in Nepal.
The CF Moto Dual 250 is powered by a 250cc liquid-cooled engine that meets Euro 5 emission standards. It produces 24.4 PS of power and 22.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
With a kerb weight of 154 kg, the motorcycle is positioned as a lightweight option suitable for off-road riding.
For suspension, the Dual 250 features USD front forks and a rear mono-shock. It runs on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, fitted with dual-purpose tires designed for both on-road and off-road use.
Other key features include dual-channel ABS, a slip-and-assist clutch, 245 mm ground clearance, and a 13-litre fuel tank.
The Dual 250 is expected to be launched in January 2026, with an estimated price of around Rs 600,000. In the Nepali market, it will compete directly with models such as the Honda XR190 and Hero XPulse 210, both of which are also expected to be available around the same period.
CF Moto’s adventure lineup has gained traction in Nepal, especially with the strong response to the CF Moto 450 MT. The upcoming Dual 250 is expected to further expand the brand’s presence in the growing adventure and dual-purpose motorcycle segment.
