KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp Nepal is set to organize the ‘Hero Upgrade Jatra’ from May 19 to May 24, 2026, targeting customers looking to exchange their old motorcycles or scooters for new Hero models.
The exchange event is being organized by CG Motors, the official distributor of Hero in Nepal. The program will take place at Bhrikutimandap.
According to the company, customers participating in the event will receive attractive valuation offers for their old two-wheelers. More than 25 evaluators will be available at the venue to provide doorstep valuation services.
The company said customers can receive cash benefits of up to Rs 100,000 while exchanging their old motorcycles or scooters. Finance service will also be available with only citizenship and driving license documents required.
Customers purchasing new Hero motorcycles or scooters during the event will also get free accessories, including a helmet, bag, raincoat, and bike cover.
Under the theme ‘Exchange and Excitement at One Place,’ the company will showcase Hero’s latest OBD2, BS6, and fuel-injected models at the event. Test ride facilities will also be available for visitors.
With demand for fuel-efficient and low-maintenance two-wheelers increasing in Nepal, Hero appears to be using the Upgrade Jatra campaign to attract new customers in the market.
