KATHMANDU: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Rebel 300 cruiser and ADV160 adventure scooter in India.
The Honda Rebel 300 is priced at 222,000 (Indian rupees), for the standard version. The E-Clutch version costs 262,000 (Indian rupees). Both prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru.
The Honda ADV160 is priced at 170,000 (Indian rupees), ex-showroom Bengaluru.
Deliveries of both models are scheduled to begin from mid-October 2026 in India. The launches are part of Honda’s planned 10-product rollout in India’s premium two-wheeler market.
Honda Rebel 300
The Rebel 300 is Honda’s new entry-level cruiser for India. It gets a low-slung, bobber-inspired design with blacked-out styling and relaxed ergonomics.
The motorcycle is powered by a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 29.5bhp and 27.5Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The E-Clutch version allows riders to shift gears without manually operating the clutch.
The Rebel 300 gets an LED projector headlamp and a TFT instrument cluster. It also features Honda RoadSync connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Honda ADV160
The ADV160 is an adventure-style maxi-scooter powered by a 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine. It is Honda’s first flex-fuel scooter in India and can run on fuel blends of up to E85.
The scooter features a 27-liter under-seat storage compartment and a TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync and turn-by-turn navigation.
It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), disc brakes at both ends and single-channel ABS.
The ADV160 competes with models such as the Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155 in India’s premium scooter segment.
