KATHMANDU: Lamborghini has introduced the new Urus SE Performante, the most powerful version of its SUV lineup. The new model features higher power output, reduced weight, and improved aerodynamics.
The Urus SE Performante uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain. It produces 800 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, making it 11 hp and 37 lb-ft more powerful than the standard Urus SE.
The performance SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h. It uses a 25.9 kWh battery pack with an electric motor, allowing up to 37 miles of electric-only driving.

The model gets an updated eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system. Lamborghini has also improved the suspension setup, reducing body roll by 55 percent compared to the standard Urus SE.
The Urus SE Performante uses carbon fiber components and lightweight parts, reducing weight by around 32 kg compared to the regular Urus SE. It also features new Pirelli P Zero tires, improved brake cooling, and updated aerodynamic parts.
The SUV delivers 16 percent more downforce than the previous Urus Performante and 23 percent more than the standard Urus SE. Lamborghini has not revealed the official price yet, but it is expected to cost higher than the standard Urus SE.
