KATHMANDU: The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has welcomed the budget for the fiscal year 2025/26.
A NADA delegation met Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel on Friday to express appreciation for, what it called, an automobile market-friendly budget.
Issuing a statement, NADA said it was pleased to see several of its recommendations to make Nepal’s automobile sector more dynamic and competitive included in the budget.
“This budget addresses the long-standing concerns of the automobile industry. It is business-friendly. It not only encourages entrepreneurs and traders but also contributes to revitalize the economy,” the statement read. “We hope that the upcoming monetary policy will take a similar approach.”
