KATHMANDU: Oben Electric has launched the new Rorr Evo electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of 125,000 Indian rupees (ex-showroom). The first 10,000 customers can buy it for a special price of 100,000 Indian rupees.
The Rorr Evo is the fourth model in the Rorr lineup. It comes with a sporty design featuring a projector headlamp with LED DRL, single-piece seat and split pillion grab handle.
The motorcycle gets a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, ride data and message alerts. It also features SmartIQ, an AI-based ride mode that claims to improve range by up to 15 percent.
Safety features include fall detection with emergency alerts, unified brake assist, driver alert system and geo-fencing.
Power comes from a 3.5 kWh battery pack paired with a 9 kW electric motor. The bike offers a claimed range of 180 km and a top speed of 110 km/h. It can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 3 seconds.
The battery supports fast charging and can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 90 minutes.
