KATHMANDU:  Royal Enfield has introduced the new Goan Classic 350 in the Nepali market. The model is now on sale through its official distributor Alpha Automotive.

The motorcycle has quickly gained attention due to its relatively lower pricing in the 350cc segment. Its bobber-cruiser styling, low-slung design, and unique road presence are also key highlights.

The Goan Classic 350 is targeted at riders looking for a distinct cruiser identity. It combines traditional Classic styling with modern elements.

Here are five key things to consider before buying:

Design

The bike follows a strong bobber-style design theme. It features a low seat height, wide handlebar, and unique color tones. The styling gives it a strong visual identity. However, it may not be as practical for daily use as the standard Classic 350.

Riding and pillion comfort

The upright posture and low seat support relaxed riding. But the handlebar setup and suspension may not suit all riders for long distances. The bike is mainly designed for solo riding. Pillion comfort is limited.

Safety features

It comes with dual disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. Other features include tubeless spoke wheels, adjustable levers, semi-digital console, and LED lighting. Safety is adequate, but advanced electronics are not included.

Engine

The motorcycle is powered by a 349cc J-series fuel-injected engine. It produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. The engine is tuned for smooth and relaxed riding. It is more suitable for cruising than high-speed performance.

Price

Pricing is a major advantage. Despite being in the 350cc category, it is positioned competitively.

Shark Black and Purple Haze variants are priced at Rs 5.98 lakh. Trip Teal and Rave Red cost Rs 6.02 lakh.

The Goan Classic 350 is assembled in Nepal, which helps keep prices lower.
