KATHMANDU : The Tata showroom in Thapathali, which was destroyed by fire during the second day of the Gen Z protests, has been restored. Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata vehicles in Nepal, has rebuilt its flagship outlet and brought it back into operation.
On September 9, agitators set the showroom on fire. Two cars were taken from the premises during the incident. The missing vehicles were later found in Tripureshwar and Samakhushi.

After the fire, Sipradi operated from a temporary setup. The company displayed and sold cars from a tent arrangement, especially during the major festive season when demand is high.
With the rebuilding complete, the Thapathali showroom has reopened from Monday. Customers can now visit the outlet to view and purchase Tata passenger vehicles.
Sipradi Trading offers a range of electric and petrol-powered models in Nepal. The lineup includes the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Nexon K3 EV, Punch EV and Curve EV. The Harrier (H5) and Safari SUVs are also available in the petrol segment.
