KATHMANDU:  TVS has displayed its first adventure touring motorcycle, the Apache RTX 300, at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS in Nepal, has showcased the motorcycle at the expo.

Jagdamba Motors has not announced the price of the Apache RTX 300 in Nepal. The company is expected to launch the motorcycle during the upcoming festive season.

The Apache RTX 300 has arrived in Nepal around nine months after its launch in India. The motorcycle is TVS’ first dedicated adventure touring model. It has gained attention in the Indian market for its competitive pricing and feature-rich package.

The Apache RTX 300 is built on TVS’ new RT-XD4 engine platform. It gets a semi-faired adventure touring design with LED headlights, a tall windscreen, muscular tank extensions and a high-mounted front beak.

The motorcycle also features knuckle guards, side guards, mounting points, a rear luggage rack, bash plate and black alloy wheels. Its long-travel suspension further enhances its adventure-focused design.

The RTX 300 is powered by a 299.1cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 36 PS at 9,500 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and quick shifter, along with an assist and slipper clutch.

The motorcycle gets a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. It features USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is handled by disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

The Apache RTX 300 comes with a full-LED lighting setup and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. It also offers smartphone connectivity, navigation, map mirroring, call and SMS alerts and music controls.

Other features include multiple riding modes, traction control, cruise control and ride-by-wire throttle. The motorcycle also gets adventure-focused electronic rider aids and ABS functions.

The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is being held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from August 11 to 16. The expo features more than 55 brands and over 40 new vehicle and mobility product launches.
