KATHMANDU: Two new premium vehicles are going on sale in Nepal from today. One is a new SUV, while the other is a new motorcycle.
MG Motor’s official distributor in Nepal, Paramount Motors, is launching the MG S6 EV. At the same time, Royal Enfield is starting sales of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.
Both brands are unveiling their new models at separate events in Kathmandu today. It will take a few months to see how well these vehicles perform in the market.
The MG S6 EV is a mid-size SUV. It is 4.7 meters long and comes with a 77 kWh NCM battery pack. The SUV offers a claimed range of up to 530 km on a single charge. It is powered by a rear-wheel-drive electric motor that produces 180 kW.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected Sherpa engine. It produces 40 hp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The motorcycle is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
