The motorcycle is powered by a 125cc LC4V liquid-cooled, four-valve engine. It produces 15 PS of maximum power and 13 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, while the motorcycle has a top speed of 118 kmph.
The G1 125 comes with several features, including a full-digital display, tire pressure monitoring system, assist and slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, hubless dual-disc brakes, air-temperature sensor-based fuel injection, LED headlights with a Penta projector setup, USD front suspension, dual USB ports and hazard lights.

The Scrambler Tourer also gets radially mounted tubeless cross-spoke rims, an aluminum rear luggage rack and touring accessories as standard.
The motorcycle comes with a large 20-liter fuel tank. According to the company, the G1 125 can deliver mileage of up to 65 km per liter on highways, allowing it to cover more than 1,000 km on a full tank.
The 2026 Zontes G1 125 meets Euro 5+ homologation standards. Its zinc-coated galvanized fuel tank is designed to resist the hygroscopic effects of ethanol-blended fuel, according to the company.
Zontes has also introduced a special Legacy Edition to mark its 15 years of presence in the European market. The special edition is available in both variants and costs an additional Rs 20,000.
