KATHMANDU: Flights to Gulmi’s Resunga Airport will now operate four times a week. Nepal Airlines started the new schedule from Saturday.
According to the airline, Kathmandu-Gulmi flights will now run on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Earlier, the route had only three weekly flights on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The extra flight was added after the Twin Otter aircraft returned to service after maintenance.
Nepal Airlines has also increased ticket prices for the route. The new one-way fare from Kathmandu to Resunga is Rs 10,902. The fare from Resunga to Kathmandu is Rs 10,702.
Previously, fares were Rs 7,500 from Kathmandu to Resunga and Rs 7,300 from Resunga to Kathmandu.
