KATHMANDU : The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Motosports Edition sold out within 180 seconds of bookings opening in India.

Royal Enfield produced the motorcycle as a limited-edition model, with only 100 units available globally. Of these, 25 units were allocated to the Indian market, and all were booked within three minutes.

The limited-edition motorcycle was priced at 575,000 (Indian rupees).

The remaining units will be offered in international markets, including Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

The Shotgun 650 Icon Motosports Edition has been developed in collaboration with ICON Motosports, the US-based custom motorcycle and riding gear brand.

The motorcycle is based on “Always Something”, a one-off custom Shotgun 650 unveiled by ICON at EICMA 2024. Royal Enfield describes it as a factory-built custom motorcycle inspired by that concept.

Its exclusive styling includes a three-tone race-inspired paint scheme, gold contrast graphics, blue-finished suspension springs, bar-end mirrors, a red seat with an integrated logo and gold-finished wheels. Each motorcycle also features a numbered plaque highlighting its limited production.

Mechanically, the special edition remains unchanged from the standard Shotgun 650. It is powered by Royal Enfield’s 648cc parallel-twin, air- and oil-cooled engine, producing 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
