KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has started sales of the facelifted Punch EV in Nepal. Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, launched the updated electric SUV at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
The Punch EV facelift is available in three variants. Prices start at Rs 3.399 million, while the top variant is priced at Rs 3.799 million.
The new Punch EV is up to Rs 400,000 cheaper than the previous model. The earlier version was priced at Rs 3.799 million and Rs 3.999 million.
The facelifted Punch EV gets two battery options: 30 kWh and 40 kWh. Both packs have 5 kWh more capacity than the corresponding battery options in the previous model.
The Punch EV supports 65 kW DC fast charging. The battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in around 26 minutes. Tata claims that a 15-minute charge can provide up to 135 km of range.
The exterior gets several updates. It features 16-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels inspired by Tata’s larger electric models. The rear gets connected LED tail lights similar to those seen on the updated Punch.
The basic dashboard design remains familiar, but Tata has added new trim finishes and an updated dual-tone theme.
The cabin features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.
Other features include wireless charging, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, connected-car technology and a 360-degree camera.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and high-beam assist.
