KATHMANDU : The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 has attracted more than 150,000 visitors in its first five days at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

Around 42,000 people visited the expo on Saturday alone, the highest single-day turnout so far. The expo recorded 29,000 visitors on the first day, 26,000 on the second, 22,000 on the third and more than 31,000 on the fourth day.

NAIMA had expected around 150,000 visitors over six days. The target has already been achieved one day before the expo closes.

More than 55 automotive and mobility brands are participating in the expo. So far, 53 new models have been launched during the event.

New launches and a wide range of vehicles have attracted strong interest from visitors. Two-wheelers have also seen heavy footfall, with younger visitors showing particular interest in premium brands.

Visitors have mainly been checking battery capacity, motor performance, driving range, after-sales service, battery warranty and resale value before making a decision.

Companies are also offering discounts, free insurance, one-year road tax, free servicing and financing schemes to attract buyers.

The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 concludes today, Sunday.
