Flood sweeps away bridge connecting Dhadingbesi

KATHMANDU: A flood in the Trishuli River has swept away a bridge connecting Dhadingbesi, the district headquarters of Dhading.

The bridge was washed away on Wednesday morning after a flood entered the Trishuli River from the China side.

The bridge connected Dhadingbesi with the Prithvi Highway across the Trishuli River.

Following the incident, direct road connectivity between residents of Dhading on the other side of the Trishuli River and Kathmandu has been disrupted.
