KATHMANDU: G.O. Automobiles, the authorized dealer of JSW MG Motor India in Nepal, has announced the price of the MG Hector Tomahawk EV and started sales at Rs 5.799 million.
The introductory price is available to the first 50 customers. After that, the company will sell the electric SUV for Rs 6.199 million.
G.O. Automobiles had already opened bookings for the Hector Tomahawk EV. With the price announcement, the company has officially started sales in Nepal.
The seven-seater electric SUV features a boxy design, a long claimed driving range and modern technology. It has attracted attention in India for its design and feature package.
The front features a slim closed grille, textured chrome inserts and an illuminated MG logo. Rectangular LED headlights and daytime running lights give the SUV a distinctive appearance. The bumper gets aerodynamic air vents and a chrome-finished lower air dam.

The side profile features large windows, conventional pull-type door handles and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with red brake calipers. At the rear, the SUV gets wraparound LED tail lamps, a large roof spoiler and a silver skid plate.
The Hector Tomahawk EV measures 4,745 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,770 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,810 mm and ground clearance of 230 mm.
The cabin follows a minimalist design with a light brown and black color scheme. Soft-touch materials are used on the dashboard, door pads, armrests and steering wheel.
The SUV features a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a 10-speaker Infinity sound system, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, a wireless phone charger and connected-car technology.

The driver’s seat gets six-way power adjustment, while the front passenger seat has four-way power adjustment. Both front seats are ventilated. The gear selector is mounted on the steering column.
The Hector Tomahawk EV is powered by a 150 kW electric motor that produces 310 Nm of torque. It has a 69.2 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 517 km on a full charge.
The SUV supports 90 kW DC fast charging. According to the company, the battery can charge from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes. It also supports vehicle-to-home (V2H) functionality.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, a tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, disc brakes on all wheels, an electronic parking brake and a 360-degree camera.
The top variant also gets Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and traffic-jam assist.
