KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Xpulse 450 at EICMA 2026, entering the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment with a 421cc liquid-cooled engine and upgraded technology. The motorcycle features a rally-inspired design, a large TFT display and smartphone connectivity.
The motorcycle is powered by a 421cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Official power and torque figures have not yet been announced, although the estimated output is expected to be between 40 and 45 hp.
The Xpulse 450 retains the tall stance of the existing Xpulse range but gets more substantial bodywork around the fuel tank and radiator.
A tall transparent windscreen sits above a vertically arranged headlamp assembly. Handguards, angular mirrors and a wide handlebar complete the front design.

The new Xpulse 450 uses a 421cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is expected to produce around 40-45 hp. It features a 21-inch front wheel with wire spokes and block-pattern tires, highlighting its off-road focus.
The suspension setup includes gold-finished upside-down (USD) front forks and a rear monoshock. Disc brakes are fitted at both ends, with ABS hardware visible in the official images.

The motorcycle features a large, landscape-oriented TFT instrument display. The showcased interface includes Rain, Road, Trail and Off-Road riding modes, along with settings for traction control, throttle mapping and ABS.
The display also shows Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options. Hero Xpulse 450 will compete in the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment against models such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure.
