KATHMANDU: Royal Enfield has unveiled the Himalayan 750 at the 2026 Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA), expanding its adventure touring lineup with a larger engine, upgraded suspension and new technology features.
The Himalayan 750 is powered by a new 743cc parallel-twin, air- and oil-cooled engine. It produces 54 BHP at 7,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is based on the architecture of Royal Enfield’s existing 650cc powertrain.
The updated engine features a longer stroke, higher valve lift, plated cylinder bores, shorter cooling fins and magnesium covers.
The motorcycle gets an 815 mm seat height with separate rider and pillion seats. Low Ride, Touring Rider and Touring Passenger seat options will also be available as accessories. It comes with a five-position adjustable windshield offering 60 mm of adjustment.
The Himalayan 750 weighs 224 kg (kerb) and has 205 mm of ground clearance. It also gets a 17.8-liter fuel tank.
For suspension, the motorcycle features 43 mm Showa adjustable upside-down front forks with 190 mm of travel. The rear suspension uses a Showa Mono Tube IFB monoshock with rebound damping and remote preload adjustment, offering 175 mm of wheel travel.
It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, with a choice of alloy or spoked wheels. Tubeless tires and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are also included. Braking is handled by dual 280 mm front discs and a 255 mm rear disc.
The Himalayan 750 comes with a 4-inch circular TFT display featuring integrated navigation and smartphone connectivity. Other features include cruise control, an immobiliser, a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control.
It also gets USB-C charging ports and five riding modes: Road, Road Sport, Rain, Trail and Custom.
The motorcycle features a new 7-inch headlamp with revised reflectors and an aluminum housing designed to improve heat dissipation.
Royal Enfield will offer the Himalayan 750 in four standard colors. The Himalayan 750 is expected to make its Indian debut at Royal Enfield’s Motoverse event in late November 2026. Once launched, it will compete with motorcycles such as the Honda NX500 and Kawasaki Versys 650.
