KATHMANDU: Ather Energy has crossed the 700,000 cumulative sales milestone in India. The electric scooter maker has joined brands like Ola Electric, Bajaj, and TVS, which have also achieved the same sales mark.
According to Vahan data, Ather Energy has sold 7,04,447 electric scooters as of June 25, 2026. The company achieved its latest 2 lakh sales milestone within just eight months.
Ather started operations in 2018. The company crossed 50,000 annual sales for the first time in 2022. Its sales more than doubled to 1,11,812 units in 2023.
Ather sold 1,36,513 electric scooters in 2024. Sales increased by 57 percent to 2,14,985 units in 2025. The company has already sold 1,63,788 units in 2026.
The Ather Rizta has become the company’s highest-selling model, contributing around 75 percent of monthly sales. More than 300,000 units of the electric scooter have been sold since its launch.
