KATHMANDU: The right-hand-drive (RHD) version of the AVATR 07 has officially arrived in Thailand, marking the start of global deliveries for the premium electric SUV.
Nick Avita, Senior Director of Overseas Marketing at AVATR, confirmed that the RHD AVATR 07 has reached Thailand. This is the brand’s first overseas delivery milestone as it expands into international markets.
The 2026 AVATR 07 was originally launched in September last year. It became the first model to feature Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 advanced driver assistance system and the HarmonySpace 5 smart cockpit. In China, the SUV was introduced at a starting price of USD 30,500,
AVATR has set aggressive global targets. In April 2025, the company announced plans to sell 400,000 vehicles worldwide and generate 100 billion yuan in revenue by 2027. It aims to increase global sales to 800,000 units by 2030 and 1.5 million units by 2035.
Meanwhile, the AVATR 07 has also arrived in Nepal for testing purposes. The SUV has been imported by CG MAW Evolution Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of AVATR vehicles in Nepal.
According to company sources, the unit has been brought solely for testing. Official sales in Nepal are planned to begin in the second quarter of 2026.
With the RHD model now launched in Thailand, the Nepal launch timeline is expected to move forward as scheduled.
