KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto is set to launch three new two-wheeler products in India over the next 45 days. The company will also introduce two new brands in the coming months, according to Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rakesh Sharma. “We will be launching three new products in the next 45 days and also roll out two new brands,” Sharma said.
The announcement comes shortly after Bajaj launched the updated Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in India. Chief Business Officer of Bajaj Auto’s Two-Wheeler Business Unit, said the two-wheeler market is currently growing at around 12%.
The motorcycle segment is growing at around 10%, while the scooter segment is recording a higher growth rate. Electric two-wheelers are seeing the strongest growth. The EV segment is growing at around 80%, according to Kanade.
Bajaj expects the upcoming festive season to remain strong. The company is optimistic about sales in the second half of the current festive period.
