KATHMANDU: Changan’s NEV brand Deepal has added a new 630 km Long-Range Edition to the S07 lineup in China.
The global mid-size SUV now comes in two variants priced from 23,100 to 24,500 USD.
The new model offers a 630 km CLTC range and uses Huawei’s Qiankun ADS SE assisted-driving system. It supports lane changes, obstacle avoidance, highway navigation and upgraded city-level driving.
The S07 features interactive lighting that communicates with pedestrians and shows driving status. It comes in five colors with an optional dual-tone design. The SUV measures 4750 mm in length and has a 2900 mm wheelbase. It uses soundproof glass in the front and privacy glass at the rear.
Inside, the cabin gets a 15.6-inch 2.5K screen and a 55-inch AR-HUD. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P chip and includes a 20-speaker Dolby audio system. Rear passengers have a 4.2-inch control screen with support for an iPad.

Power comes from a rear motor that delivers 190 kW and 290 Nm. The S07 can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
A 77.94 kWh battery provides the 630 km range. Huawei’s assisted-driving suite also supports more than 160 parking scenarios, including off-vehicle and memory parking.
Deepal has now completed 700,000 vehicle deliveries. The milestone was reached on the same day Changan announced its total production had crossed 30 million units.
