KATHMANDU:Deepal has introduced its advanced Golden Shield Battery 2.0 to the Nepali market through the S05 electric vehicle.
This battery technology focuses on high safety, long life and efficient performance, giving EV owners more confidence on the road.
According to the company, the Golden Shield Battery 2.0 offers an ultra-long lifespan of up to 600,000 km with minimal performance loss. It combines a high-stability battery core with intelligent early-warning and mechanical protection systems, designed to achieve zero thermal runaway.
Its cycle life exceeds 5,000, while battery safety early-warning accuracy is above 99%.
Along with safety, it delivers strong performance. The 56.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery provides up to 470 km of pure electric range. It supports 3C fast charging, allowing 30% to 80% charge in just 15 minutes.
For daily commuting within 30 km, owners may only need to charge twice a month.
With the launch of the S05 using this battery in Nepal, Deepal brings a combination of longer range, faster charging and enhanced safety to local EV buyers.
