Deepal S05 price revised upwards in Nepal

KATHMANDU: The price of the Deepal S05 SUV has been increased in the Nepali market. MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Deepal in Nepal, has raised the price of the Deepal S05 by Rs 100,000.

Previously priced at Rs 5.699 million, the Deepal S05 is now available at Rs 5.799 million. The electric SUV has been popular for its futuristic design, advanced features, and competitive pricing.

The Deepal S05 is equipped with a 56.1 kWh LFP battery pack, which delivers a claimed range of up to 510 km on the CLTC cycle. It uses CATL’s Golden Shield 2.0 battery technology, which the company says offers enhanced safety and up to 5,000 charging cycles. Supporting 3C fast charging, the battery can be charged from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.

The SUV features a 175 kW electric motor that produces 235 hp and 320 Nm of torque. In terms of dimensions, the Deepal S05 measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm.

Design highlights include a closed front grille, a three-segment lower air intake, an electric trunk, an illuminated ring light, pixel-style headlights, and hidden flush door handles.

The Deepal S05 also offers segment-first features such as an augmented reality head-up display and a remote park-in and park-out function. Inside the cabin, it comes with a 13-liter temperature-insulated storage container in the center console, along with a total of 35 storage spaces across the interior.
