KATHMANDU: Paramount Motors, the official distributor of Wuling vehicles in Nepal, is preparing to expand its electric vehicle portfolio with four new models. The company aims to strengthen its position in Nepal’s growing EV market with products ranging from compact city cars to large family SUVs.
Wuling entered Nepal in 2023 through Paramount Motors. Since then, the brand has gained attention for practical and affordable electric vehicles. Wuling is backed by SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW), a global joint venture between SAIC Motor, General Motors, and Guangxi Automobile Group. The company has produced more than 30 million vehicles worldwide.
Paramount Motors is expected to launch the following four new Wuling electric vehicle models in the Nepali market.
Wuling Eksion EV
The Eksion EV will be positioned as a 7-seater family SUV. It comes with a 69.2 kWh Magic Battery Pro pack and a claimed range of up to 530 km. Key highlights include ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and bold SUV styling.

Wuling Mini EV 4-Door
This new version of the popular Mini EV adds four doors for better rear-seat access. Built on Wuling’s GSEV platform, it is expected to offer a driving range of up to 301 km. It is likely to target urban buyers looking for a compact city EV.

Wuling Darion MPV EV
The Darion MPV EV will cater to customers looking for a spacious people mover. It features a 7-seat cabin, sliding doors, and a premium interior. The claimed range is up to 540 km.

Wuling Binguo EV
The Binguo EV is also expected to return with updated features. It will be available with two battery options: 31.9 kWh and 37.9 kWh. Claimed range figures are 333 km and 410 km respectively. Features include dual 10.25-inch displays, up to 790 liters of cargo space, ABS, EBD, and up to six airbags.
8-Year Battery Warranty
Paramount Motors says all upcoming Wuling EVs will come with an 8-year battery warranty. This is expected to boost buyer confidence and improve long-term ownership value.
With these upcoming launches, Paramount Motors is preparing to offer one of the widest EV lineups in Nepal. The move is expected to further increase competition in the country’s electric vehicle segment.
