KATHMANDU: Golchha Group has honored three top performers from the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) with Pulsar N160 motorcycles.
Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, operating under Golchha Group as the league’s Two Wheeler Partner, handed over the motorcycles on Saturday. The recipients were Rohit Kumar Paudel, Sandeep Lamichhane and Sher Malla.
Rohit Kumar Paudel led Lumbini Lions to the championship title. He was also the highest run scorer of the season with 276 runs. Sandeep Lamichhane, captain of Biratnagar Kings, finished as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker with 17 wickets.
Lumbini Lions’ Sher Malla was named Emerging Player of the Season. He impressed with the ball and also picked up 17 wickets during the tournament.
Speaking at the ceremony, Golchha Group Director Abhimanyu Golchha said the company has long supported sports. He added that the group was pleased to honor the players as part of its partnership with the league.
