KATHMANDU: Leapmotor B10 SUVs have started entering Nepal through the Korala border point as the company looks to maintain deliveries amid the closure of the Rasuwagadhi border.
Shangrila Motors, the official distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, has shifted B10 imports to Korala after flooding caused the Rasuwagadhi border point to close.
The company said the alternative route will help ensure timely delivery to customers who have already booked the B10. It has also accelerated transportation and customs clearance processes.
Leapmotor B10 received a good number of bookings during the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026 and NADA Auto Show 2026. With vehicles now arriving through Korala, the company plans to start deliveries soon.
The B10 is currently priced at Rs. 5.499 million in Nepal. The price was reduced following the government’s budget announcement, which further increased customer interest in the SUV.
The Leapmotor B10 is powered by a 160 kW rear-wheel-drive motor and gets a 67.1 kWh battery pack. It offers a claimed range of up to 600 km on a full charge.
The electric SUV has 180 mm of ground clearance and features a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a 360-degree camera with recording capability.
Other features include premium leatherette seats with heating and ventilation and a large panoramic sunroof with a sunshade.
