KATHMANDU: Mahindra has unveiled four new concept SUVs at its Independence Day event in Mumbai.

The new models are the Vision X, Vision T, Vision S and Vision SXT. Each concept has a unique design and represents different segments. All four are based on Mahindra’s newly revealed NU.IQ platform. This platform will be used for C-segment vehicles for Indian and global markets. It supports ICE, hybrid and electric powertrains.

The Vision X previews Mahindra’s future crossover. It has a sleek profile with squared-off gloss black wheel arches. The front gets a slim fascia with Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo and sharp LED lights. At the rear, it has a raked windshield, a roof spoiler, and full-width LED taillights. A chunky bumper with a faux diffuser adds a sporty look. The SUV also features flush door handles and two-tone alloy wheels.

The Vision S reflects Mahindra’s next-gen Heartcore Design philosophy. It carries a boxy and rugged profile with a two-tone colour scheme. The front has an upright stance with L-shaped LED headlamps and a rectangular grille with LED inserts. The rear gets a tailgate-mounted spare wheel and L-shaped LED taillights. It also comes with roof rails, a side storage box, flush door handles and two-tone alloy wheels.
